Who we are?

SupaZorb is a South African based research and development company that also export their products. The patented SupaZorb Absorbent, consisting of 100% plant material / detritus, was discovered in 1997 - which has the ability to change hazardous oil-spills into bio-mass (fertilizers).

After its discovery, the absorbent was researched from 1999 to 2009 in collaboration with:

University of Pretoria
University of Zululand
North West University(Potchefstroom)
Council of Geo Sciences

The research confirmed and scientifically proofed that SupaZorb has the potential to treat contaminated soil and rehabilitate water.

Apart from the research conducted by the Universities, SupaZorb is also SABS (South African Bureau of Standards) approved. SupaZorb continues with research and development and never seizes to be amazed with new discoveries involving this miraculous product.

SupaZorb has a diverse range of products that are designed according to the consumer's needs. To name a few applications of our products and systems includes:

clean and bio-remediate hazardous hydrocarbon spills on soil, water, cement, paving, tar and workshop areas;
provide SETA approved training;
audit premises;
manufacture and distribute environmental friendly chemicals;
manufacture and distribute hydrocarbon absorbents;

Our South African client base involves the Motor Industry, Mining Industry and Governmental Departments such as Water Affairs and Department of Defense. We find pride in our products and are proud to present them to the world.
